May 2016 Project Up-date

Tibberton, nr Newport

Work is well underway on the construction of a swimming pool, gymnasium area and changing facilities at a private residence in the village of Tibberton with a target completion date of September 2016. The main body of the pool has been formed and work continues on the sub structures before the steel frame is due on site at the end of the month.

The pool enclosure will have a steel deck roof with an edpm covering topped with artificial grass. The external facades are to be clad with a mixture of brick, steel and glass.

Scholar's Lane, Loppington

Work on the Scholars Lane project to extend a large bungalow and convert and repair existing outbuildings continues to progress well.

The bungalow refurbishment and extensions are now close to completion and will be handed to the client in July. The outbuilding have been made structurally sound and re-roofed using the existing slate coverings. Works are expected to be completed early in the Autumn.

Stanton Long, Much Wenlock

Atec Construction have won the contract through competitive tendering to convert a range of barns at Stanton Long House to form a new self contained unit. Works are progressing at pace and it is expected that the completed project will be handed back to our client in September.

The stone barn construction is to be upgraded with high levels of insulation, new doors and windows installed and general repairs to the fabric of the building. The new two Bedroom unit is to be fitted out to a very high standard with a quality oak staircase, doors and joinery items.

The project was completed and handed over at the beginning of the month, on target and and on budget much to the delight of our client.
